FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is At the Card Table?

An intimate, immersive close-up magic show by Kevin Blake. A blend of sleight of hand, mentalism, and storytelling. Eight seats at the card table, thirty-two more tiered in a semi-circle behind.

How long is the show?

65 minutes with no intermission. The bar opens one hour before the show — arrive early, grab a cocktail.

Is the show interactive?

Yes. The show uses your group at every step. Kevin works with 15–20 guests throughout the night to choose cards, make decisions, and think of objects. Your choices form the basis for the magic.

Can we book the room privately?

Yes. Private buyouts of all forty seats are available for corporate events, birthdays, and other special occasions. Email boxoffice@cardtablesf.com and we'll put together a quote.

Where is it?

At Obscenity Bar inside Hotel Emblem — 562 Sutter Street, San Francisco. Two blocks from Union Square, in the heart of the Theater District.

Is there an age limit?

Ages 13 and up.

Where do I park?

Sutter-Stockton Garage (444 Stockton St) is one block away. Union Square Garage (333 Post St) is two blocks. Street parking in this part of the city is rare; a garage is the safer bet.
